NEC's All Species Ball 2011!
The Northcoast Environmental Center presents the All Species Ball, to kick off the North Country Fair and our 27th annual International Coastal Cleanup Day. The All Species Ball is a family fun costume event Friday, September 16th from 6-11:30 p.m. at the Arcata Vet’s Hall at 1425 J St, Arcata. Come dressed as your favorite species (or in your human costume, if you'd prefer) and enjoy great organic food, microbrews and wine, a fabulous auction, costume contest, face and body painting and a supervised kids corner. Live music will be performed by the fantastic Sky Miller Quartet, the all women—all fabulous Singing Nettles, and the ever-popular top-shelf Miracle Show, and more!
Come out and show your love of our region’s biodiversity and support the NEC, our region’s oldest environmental organization for our annual All Species Ball, Friday, September 16th from 6-11:30. Tickets are available at the NEC office (plaza level Jacoby Storehouse), at the Works and at the door. For more information or to RSVP tickets just call the NEC at 822-6918 or email rain@yournec.org.
