Earth Day 2014

Earth Day - 44 Years of Making a Difference

Earth Day began in 1970 as a community-oriented event to raise awareness about pollution in our environment. The tradition continues!

The Northcoast Environmental Center is continuing our longstanding tradition of cleaning up our beaches and waterways for Earth Day! The NEC's cleanups will be held at two locations: Samoa Beach (Humboldt County) and Point St. George Beach (Del Norte County). Many other local organizations are hosting cleanup events as well!
