Please join Congressman Huffman on August 14 at Eureka's Wharfinger Building for a public input meeting where he will explain his newly-unveiled draft legislation to guard communities against wildfires, provide local jobs, and protect Northern California’s spectacular wild places and pristine streams on federal lands. Congressman Huffman’s draft legislation would restore forests and fish habitat, benefit local economies, enhance recreational opportunities, and reduce fire danger to protect communities.The meeting will focus on the draft legislation exclusively. Additional public town halls on other topics will be scheduled in the coming weeks.
